About Leanne

Leanne began her legal career at the Family Court of East Baton Rouge Parish, where she worked closely with a family court judge on legal research, docket preparation, pretrial matters, and trials. She later represented the State of Louisiana in paternity and child support proceedings, first as a staff attorney with the Department of Children and Family Services, and then as an Assistant District Attorney in the 22nd Judicial District. In those roles, she managed substantial caseloads and handled matters involving the establishment, enforcement, and modification of child support obligations.

Leanne subsequently served as in-house general counsel to the St. Tammany Parish Clerk of Court while directing several divisions and supervising more than 60 employees. She advised on legal, contractual, personnel, regulatory, and operational matters and oversaw functions involving civil and family filings, jury processes, judgments, service, court minutes, and land records. This broad experience gives her a practical perspective on how legal matters move through the court system. At Mark Mansfield & Associates, Leanne draws on that perspective to provide strategic, responsive, and diligent representation tailored to each client’s needs.

A native of San Diego, California, Leanne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of California – San Diego and a Juris Doctor from Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
